RETURNING TO SPIRIT
Reconciliation Workshop, February 17 - 21, 2018

This experiential workshop is for persons who have already participated in the 4/5-day RTS workshop, either the one for Indigenous or for non-Indigenous participants. In the first 2 days the Indigenous and the non-Indigenous participants meet separately. In the last 3 days the two groups come together for conversation, completion and celebration. Your participation indicates an intention of contributing to reconciliation in the wake of the Residential School legacy.

For whom? For Indigenous and Non-Indigenous people: 17 years and older

Workshop Location: St Paul’s College, University of Manitoba 70 Dysart, Winnipeg, MB   R3T 2M6

PARTICIPATION
  • Commitment to full participation in every session is a pre-requisite.
  • You will be asked to use your personal life experiences to explore your relationship to the issues of Residential Schools and more.
  • Sessions go from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday to Tuesday; 9 am to 2 pm Wednesday.
  • There are evening assignments.

Cost: 
  • Cost for the workshop (this includes the noon meals and snacks) $300.00

Cheques are payable to Returning to Spirit. Include Memo:  REC Wpg 2018-02

  • Or hand deliver cheque to Jacques Lafrance, Workshop Coordinator on the first day of the workshop.

  • Participants are responsible for their own accommodations and travel expenses.
